Projects

Products, Platforms, and Research

Ventures and research concepts across hospitality intelligence, open records, and legal workflow — each one built around the same operating discipline: organize the information, respect the deadlines, and turn complexity into something people can actually use.

Portfolio

Five ventures, one through-line

From hotel revenue analytics to probate software to requester-side transparency tools to a revived independent sports-media publication, every project here treats structured information as the product. Statuses are stated plainly: live products say so, active builds stay measured, and research stays research.

PulseADR

Active

Hospitality revenue intelligence

Problem
Independent hotels price on intuition and shop competitors by hand, leaving revenue on the table when nearby properties sell out and demand stays unmet.
Audience
Independent and seasonal hotels with 40–120 rooms in national-park gateways, destination towns, and event markets — independents and major-brand franchises alike.
Role
Founder and builder, drawing on hands-on hotel revenue practice. Live in early access at pulseadr.com.

EstateClock

Active

Legal software — probate & estate management

Problem
Probate work scatters files, statutory deadlines, court hearings, and conflict checks across disconnected tools, where a single missed deadline can derail an estate.
Audience
Wisconsin and Minnesota law firms handling estate planning, probate, and real-estate transfer work — attorneys, paralegals, assistants, and interns.
Role
Founder and builder. Live at estateclock.com.

Recaran

Active

Requester-side open records / civic transparency

Problem
Public-records requesters lack tools to draft precise requests, track deadlines, preserve communications, and organize productions.
Audience
Citizens, researchers, journalists, and civic organizations.
Role
Founder / builder. In development.

Open Governance Systems

Research

Civic transparency / public-information workflows

Problem
Produced records rarely become usable public knowledge; organization, gap analysis, and synthesis are left to ad hoc effort.
Audience
Requesters and civic-minded readers.
Role
Researcher / systems designer.

The Sports Judge

Active

Independent sports media — revived (orig. 2008–2014)

Problem
Early web sports commentary lacked an open contributor platform where emerging writers could publish, build an audience, and get noticed.
Audience
Sports readers across the major leagues, college sports, and combat sports — plus emerging writers.
Role
Founder. The revival of his original venture The Sports Jury, rebuilt from the Internet Archive and relaunched as The Sports Judge.

Each project reflects the same habits William built in hospitality operations — documentation, deadline discipline, and evidence over assumption — applied to public accountability, lawful records access, and information products. Nothing here is legal advice; the legal-adjacent concepts are organizational tools, not counsel.
